Carl Junction, Mo. — Saturday evening about 7:00 PM Jasper County Emergency Communications were alerted to reports of a multi-vehicle crash on MO-171 at the Center Creek Bridge. These crashes occurred inside the city limits of Carl Junction and are investigated by the CJPD.
Carl Junction Fire Department were already responding to a crash on MO-171 at Locust Road. Early estimates are that traffic is being diverted for an extended period of time described by authorities. Two people were transported via ambulance, possibly more. No injuries are thought to be life threatening.

MO-171 CRASH AT LOCUST ROAD ON ICE COVERED BRIDGE
JASPER COUNTY, Mo. — Jasper County Emergency Communications were alerted to a crash just before 7:00 PM (6:38 PM) north of Carl Junction at Locust Road at Spring River.
A Fort Scott, Kansas, woman was operating a 2003 Toyota Tacoma was uninjured however her passenger suffered minor injuries and was transported to Mercy Joplin. The Toyota was removed from the roadway by Cottril’s Towing.

WEBB CITY TWO ROLLOVERS 249 NORTH AT ZORA
WEBB CITY, Mo. — Multiple crashes occurred at 249 NB at Zora beginning at 7:00 PM. Webb City Fire Department and METS were tending to a Carthage man that was ejected in a rollover Ford Expedition. A second rollover at 8:27 PM occurred, almost coming right at them (listed below). The Expedition was being driven by a 76-year-old Carthage man. He suffered moderate injuries and was transported to Mercy Joplin. The vehicles was towed by Cardinal Towing.
That second rollover was a 2018 Dodge Journey being driven by a 56-year-old Little Rock man. His female passenger suffered moderate injuries and was transported to Mercy Joplin. Schrader’s Towing removed the vehicle.
Webb City Fire Dept tell us a van that witnessed the first rollover slid off the road at the same spot at 7:00 PM. Another vehicle also slid off the roadway but was able to drive away from the scene. No injury single vehicle crashes that carry liability only insurance do not meet the parameters of creating a crash report.

SERIES OF I-49 CRASHES NORTH OF NEVADA AT MARMATON RIVER BRIDGE
VERNON COUNTY, Mo. — About 7:15 PM a series of crashes occurred at the Marmaton River bridge 4 miles north of Nevada on I-49. According to crash reports compiled by Cpl. J.E. Wilde of Missouri State Highway Patrol. A 2011 Chevy Trailblazer struck a 2009 Cadillac SRX sitting in the roadway. Two people from Minneapolis, Minnesota, in the Chevy sought treatment at Nevada Regional Hospital.
The same disabled 2009 Cadillac SRX sitting in the roadway was struck by a Kansas City man driving a 2013 Toyota Corolla. The 24-year-old was transported to St. Lukes hospital at Kansas City with serious injuries.
