JACKSON, MI — Willis and Machnik Financial Services, a Jackson-based financial planning firm, is expanding its services to the Kalamazoo-area.
The company announced an acquisition with Kalamazoo-based wealth management adviser, G. R. Young on Thursday, Feb. 10. Through this acquisition, Willis and Machnik Financial Services will establish its presence across southern Michigan, officials said.
“We knew this was an excellent match from the beginning and our client discussions only served to amplify that fact,” G.R. Young officials said in a statement.
Willis and Machnik was founded in 1983 in Jackson. The firm delivers comprehensive financial services, including wealth management, estate planning, insurance and employee benefit plans.
The acquisition enables Willis and Machnik to share innovative wealth management strategies to a larger audience, officials said.
“We look forward to many wonderful years inspiring our new clients to fruitful financial conversations and complete wealth management services and solutions,” said Dan Machnik, Willis and Machnik managing partner.
